and if Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian companies in their respective countries advertise for only Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian worker, how would one know why wouldn't they try and find British workers first, after all it's not without credence that this happens. So a British worker may not know that his Polish neighbour got a job advertised in Poland, and not advertised in UK at all - its a quagmire, and one people keep on falling in.

UK population, it's ridiculous, how many British in work, more than ever according to the news, so are you just suggesting that a British person doesn't want to work in a men's lav, or on a field pulling up turnips, for tuppence an hour, when he/she could have a family to feed. Many of the migrant workers don't need to do that as their families are often back home, or more likely single so they can live here for a time, make some money and bugger off. If they settle then they will bring their families here, but they won't be doing these menial jobs i am sure because you cannot bring up a family, pay for all utilities, rent and so on on tuppence a week, they will perhaps have got better jobs, jobs perhaps that were advertised in their country of origin and not open, available to a British worker.

do that - and then see them wreck any chance of an economic recovery, there is some, and good news is good news, more people in work, so it's tough right now, but what have Labour got to offer. what are their aims to really get Britain back on it's feet. Will they do anything at all they haven't done before, many of those affected by some of Labour policies of old were Labour voters, i wonder if the economy does improve that some will switch or go with what they know.
