Stop kowtowing to Brussels, suspend all immigration & make sure that Brits are offered all jobs, those that refuse work should have benefits stopped unless they are genuinely too ill to work I'm sure that after a while there would be a significant drop in unemployment figures. Then & only then let controlled immigration re-commence allowing in only those with a job to come to & a place of residence already arranged.

I live in a street of 50 houses 5 of which are private owned . The rest are all rented out to young families with the boyfriends stopping at weekends or what ever time is allowed when on benefits. Mostly all have there state of the art tvs you cant help but see the screens also designer clothes and well up to date cars . Go off their holidays . I had worked all my life and certainly could not have kept up with them. Where did I go wrong? I think I went wrong with going to work but I am proud of it .

Triggerhappy, //It is like poor porn, you are invited to watch, froth and judge every person who claims benefits. //
I don't believe anyone is judging 'every person who claims benefits'. Statements like that are as disingenuous as claiming that everyone on benefits is entitled to them.
DrFilth, why shouldn’t people who are fit to work be obliged to do something in return for their benefits?
