Steve, Cloverjo said that, not me.
steve do you remember this from a few years back

DrFilth, that's not from 'a few years back'. It was made almost 30 years ago.
that is what makes it so interesting
Why?
this modern show that the thread is about think about where they got the idea from
I don't understand what you're saying.
A lot of this would not be happening if there was full employment. Stop kowtowing to Brussels, suspend all immigration & make sure that Brits are offered all jobs, those that refuse work should have benefits stopped unless they are genuinely too ill to work I'm sure that after a while there would be a significant drop in unemployment figures. Then & only then let controlled immigration re-commence allowing in only those with a job to come to & a place of residence already arranged.

WR.
I live in a street of 50 houses 5 of which are private owned . The rest are all rented out to young families with the boyfriends stopping at weekends or what ever time is allowed when on benefits. Mostly all have there state of the art tvs you cant help but see the screens also designer clothes and well up to date cars . Go off their holidays . I had worked all my life and certainly could not have kept up with them. Where did I go wrong? I think I went wrong with going to work but I am proud of it .

/make sure that Brits are offered all jobs, those that refuse work should have benefits stopped/

Great!

Just what employers want

a bunch of reluctant and unmotivated trouble makers forced into taking jobs
> those that refuse work should have benefits stopped<

from my understanding of the letters from the dwp if you did refuse work or training courses your benefit is stopped
Wendilla...if they have up to date cars, designer clothes and holidays...then they are on the fiddle.

What you receive in hard cash when on benefits wouldn't even cover my food bill.

We need more mandatory training courses for people on long term benefits.
it is all very clear and simple or is it ?

Triggerhappy, //It is like poor porn, you are invited to watch, froth and judge every person who claims benefits. //

I don't believe anyone is judging 'every person who claims benefits'. Statements like that are as disingenuous as claiming that everyone on benefits is entitled to them.

DrFilth, why shouldn’t people who are fit to work be obliged to do something in return for their benefits?
The biggest benefit cheats are Members of Parliament so they need smoke screens like this to deflect attention from their nefarious activities.
Yes UMMMM you are right there this is what I mean the partners are probably working full time and fiddling as well and stopping there just at weekends. I know there are genuine cases through no fault of there own finding it difficult .
naomi some of these firms that are giving job training if they did not get this free labour do you not think that they would give proper full time jobs to people
