i believe Scargill was bad for the miners, the unions, and a big old hypocrite, for not just trying to buy the flat under the right to buy rules, after all he was an overt critic of her and everything she stood for, so presumably that includes the oft criticised right to buy, and as i have pointed out, it wasn't just about trying to buy his flat, if you read my wiki

If a Tory condemned a Labour government (and everything they stood for) would we assume they wouldn't avail themselves of a personal benefit that they and others in a similar position were entitled to, just because it was the result of a Labour policy?
For example, would current Tory recipients of certain Benefits introduced or increased by Labour policies by hypocrites, because they also condemn the Labour ex-government's profligacy?
