Even if they get fast tracked into the EU post independence it looks like they'll have to join the Euro as a condition of entry. Does that upset the applecart somewhat?

One thing I really like is this from Scotland's deputy first minister, Nicola Sturgeon
"The fact of the matter is that, if Scotland votes 'No' and we don't become independent, there is absolutely no guarantee at all that we would stay within the European Union.
"We could find ourselves taken out of it against our will."
Clearly she does not believe in democracy and the want of the majority.
Says it all

Scaremongering rubbish.
If Scotland left the UK they would be a small country and would probably not even qualify for Euro membership. Recent countries to join the EU such as Romania and Bulgaria were not forced to drop their own currencies as a condition of joining. Neither of those new members have the Euro, and Scotland would be the same.
Scotland being a lot smaller in population and economy than the whole of the UK would of course get a different deal from EU membership. That bit from Hague is stating the bleeding obvious.
