Poetic justice !
I have to say that I was silently ssatisfied when in the good old days
the IRA blew their own hands off - or otherwise scored an own goal

i heard this, innocents saved.. a result.
'Own Goals' are pretty common in terrorist activity Chilldought, they just don't get publicised as such.

Yes PP, the incident reminded me of when I turned up with many colleagues to the 'Own Goal' of Messrs Moley and Burns.

Home made bombs are unstable, but events such as bombers blowing themselves up are rare.
I would not be surprised if they were taken out by a drone attack.
