Putin just needed the excuse, now he has it, on roll the tanks, history repeating itself.
The Russian minority in Ukraine aren't under any threat whatsoever from the new government. Neither were there any problems in Crimea (barring an ugly clash between rival factions in Simferopol) until the Russians moved in.
I've banged on for years that Russia is ruled by a criminal, mafia-style government and now we are seeing just how criminal.
Comparisons with Hitler and Anschluss are not out of place.
