Baldric - have you not got a border collie?

Hi cupid, not that I'm aware of!
\\\\\The reason they get Free Prescriptions in Wales is because the Ewes are on the Pill, at the insistence of the Farmers.....:-))\\\\

LOL...LOL.....
lots of exemptions paying for Prescriptions in England, i read somewhere that 80/90 percent are not paid for, those who are exempt.

That is nearly as good as it is here in Wales then emmie...100% free here !
there are plenty who do pay, and i find it objectionable that we pay and you don't.
am i allowed to move back or will you all chase me out?
That's ok emmie, I'm sure you get it back by not paying for your plastic shopping bags! LOL
i try to take my bag, backpack or shopping trolley, it safer.

Emmie...Scotland and Wales have much in common, the main one being that we are both Tory-Free zones, which was the point of my original post. Its democracy in action. The Labour landslide of 1997 gave us the chance to change things forever and both us and the Scots grabbed our chance with both hands. Not sure what you can really do in England, as I fear that you are destined to be forever under the Tory jackboot.

Move to Wales emmie...we would love to welcome you into the hillsides. The air is cleaner, the scenery much better, and you don't even have to learn a new language, if you don't want to !
no thanks, my outings to Wales, though i confess it was some years ago, was less than pleasant.

Well, the offer still stands emmie..try again when the weather is forecast to be dry and sunny.....like now for instance !
the people were not over friendly, the weather was fine
You'd always have a welcome on my hillside, emmie
thank you, perhaps its because i am English, they didn't seem to like us much, it was rather a while ago, so perhaps relations have improved since then
" perhaps relations have improved since then"

Not much in my experience, particularly when you go into the countryside where all the hillbillies and rednecks doss :)
Very well done to you lot thought that by voting for the kind hearted Tory's that they will look after you, just look at what they are doing! OH forgot to say, " We are all in it together" My @rse.
