Isn't there still enough scope (new treason proposals, solicitation, incitement) to either put him in a UK jail for a very long time, or at worst close house arrest. At least he'd be out of harm's way. Isn't there a case that all we are doing is sending these people abroad to carry on planning mayhem against us. (But I too think he should not be allowed back)
The best thing is for him to be out of this country and let him have experience of the "Human Rights" of his Islamic friends, who I am sure would not muck about getting a confession for his crimes !!!!
The Brits have been too namby pamby worrying about upsetting other people. The needs of our country HAVE to come first ,not some fanatics civil rights. The Saudis and Kuwaitis dont worry about rights.
