Le Wren Scott long time girlfriend of Mick Jagger found dead apparently found hanged in New York apartment, Sad another young life gone!

Apparently, she always refused financial help from Mick Jagger. The trouble with the fashion world in New York is that people only want to know you when you`re successful. Maybe she feared finacial disaster more than some.

I noticed that none of the celebrities who 'tweeted' their condolonces mentioned Mick Jagger - only her family or friends and family which I thought was interesting.

Yes although most of us did not know her it must be devastating to all those who did.

It was reported that she took her own life, since she was found with a scarf fastened to a door knob and around her neck.

I would have thought that to kill one's self in such a manner, one would need to attach the ligament higher than a door knob?

With the door open, the scarf would be tied to the doorknob on one side, thrown over the top of the door, and the person would hang him or herself from the other side.

Without using a doorknob or door handle, it would be difficult to attach the scarf or rope to anything that would hold the weight of a body.

This poor woman would have been shorter than the height of a door, so this method would have been sure to succeed.

Incidentally, I think it was a very poor decision for some papers to print the picture of Mick Jagger the moment he heard the news.

And you can just imagine how the news was delivered by the hacks in question.

Agree with you on that, but there must be plenty who would, I have always thought the same when the media cameras are present at funerals, how many ordinary people take a camera along to a funeral?

I didn't realise she was that tall. But I still think that this is the most likely doorknob explanation. Very sad that someone could find themselves in such a dark place over (reportedly) money and embarrassment.

the media report, take notes, pictures, video etc so that 'ordinary people' who were not able to attend can gain some insight into what took place

are we any more enlightened as to what happened. I do object to the lady in question being labelled, Mick Jagger's girlfriend, as though that was all she was. As to the photo of him it was on the front cover of numerous papers, i wondered why..
