Yeah...it's fake. It was a Twitter post from The Daily Currant.
The website, which calls itself “The Global Satirical Newspaper of Record,” last week claimed that Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity she believes Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 “accidentally flew too high and got stuck in heaven.” The story was cross posted to other non-satire sites and managed to fool quite a few.
I thought at the time (before looking for other sources) that it sounded quite credible.
And personally I wouldn't mind her becoming Vice President*. It would ensure that Tina Fey could spend four years doing her Palin impression.
(*As long as the serving President was young, fit, healthy and had the best ever security team looking after him).

this was the woman who claimed to be able to see Russia from the end of her garden (she can't, needless to say), so it's really easy to attribute lunatic sayings to her and really hard to disbelieve them.
Besides, as Sqad says, there's no evidence that she's wrong, and I don't have a better guide to the plane's whereabouts myself.
