the point being we haven't heard him do anything at all, so how could he possibly be a shoe in for a safe labour seat. Wouldn't that be for those who have some credibility in the area, some connection apart from his mother.

heavens not another Blair, one was all i could stand
Is he the one who was found on a park bench aged 15, a little worse for wear?
he will fit right in if so.
That's the one, although I hope he isn't judged for the rest of his life on that incident, or for the fact that he has a famous pair of parents. Good luck to the lad.
I did him a disservice, he was 16:

He'll fit right in!
a safe seat, let him stand on his own and see how he does,
the sins of the father may well come back to haunt him,
Jobs for the boys!!
As indeed all of our fathers might emmie, famous or not !
has he done anything of note as yet to warrant his inclusion, or is it the connection that the activists are interested in if you read the piece

"
He added that the talk of adopting Tony Blair’s older son is coming from local activists who are considering inviting him to out his name forward rather than from Euan Blair himself. “I don’t think he has done anything yet to advance his candidature.”
Yes let's not be too judgemental, give the chap a chance, in Bootle I believe.
Is he dangerous?

Has he learned after his incident in Trafalgar Square ( or was it Leicester Square).

Has he twinned up with George's twins yet - or an alternative, apparently there is another Shrub of a similar age to Euan coming through the pipeline over there, son of Jeb I believe.....

Is he religious?

Does he have a Foundation yet?

What's his property portfolio - wasn't he the one who got Cherie's 'pair of flats' in Bristol?
carebeing, yes indeed
how about letting someone take the seat if they have proved they have some standing in the community, have actually done something for the people of Bootle, it shouldn't be a shoe in because of his name,

To be fair, he can't be any worse/do more damage to the Country than his Dad,

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .can he?
Bootle - aren't they well-heeled?
There are several MPs whose fathers were also in Parliament eg Zac Goldsmith;Hilary Benn etc.
is he going to commute to Bootle from his mansion in London.

labour sources seem to think he would be a disaster for the seat, and the present incumbent hasn't decided to retire as yet.
Hilary Benn's father was a completely different politician to Blair, he had integrity, scruples, and a sense of belonging to the Labour party that was
I don't see how he can be denied a crack at it, with his impeccable record as a dedicated socialist activist and party worker who has stinted at nothing to fight for the rights of the downtrodden worker he would be a perfect choice....err sorry I was thinking of someone else.
i can't think of anyone that fits that description ^
