Sorry AOG, it does not prove that at all. All it proves is that if you do not have all the figure you will come to a completely wrong conclusion. The Daily Mail are doing it on purpose, but you are doing because you want to believe your incorrect conclusion.

How could any other 'figure' prove that these actual numbers are wrong, will it prove that there are no foreign prisoners in our jails?

Ah, If one receives some fact that they would rather see swept under the carpet, then blame the messenger.
But still here is the report on the same problem, but this time from a Left leaning newspaper, who unlike yourself and others actually admits that there is a problem, but they chose to put their usual slant on matters and blames the Government.

The Daily Mail report and the Daily Mirror report say the same thing because they both stole the story from the Sunday people.
---------
The percentage of foreign prisoners in jail is not significantly higher than that of the indigenous population. So all it proves is that they are no better or no worse than us. But that is not he conclusion you have taken from the table.

/// Perhaps muslim immigrants are more honest than christian immigrants. The figure prove it, don't they? ///
Or the Muslims are more likely than Poles, to be protected, in case they are offended?
Just typing 'Poles' got me to thinking how come we are allowed the privileged to shorted 'Polish' whereas we are not allowed to shorten 'Pakistani'?

// *** acquired offensive connotations in the 1960s when used by British tabloids to refer to subjects of former colony states in a derogatory and racist manner. In modern British usage "***" is typically a derogatory label used for all South Asians, including Indians, Afghans and Bangladeshis.
In recent times there has been a trend by second and third-generation British Pakistanis to reclaim the word, so that it can be used between young British Pakistanis, but not by outsiders, even Indians and Bangladeshis. //
Whereas "Pole or Poles" does not have a derogatory meaning.

the more aog posts on this topic the more he demonstrates a failure to understand numbers or basic common sense.
Sorry to all the sensitive souls such as youngmafgog who choose to stereotype the perfectly reasonable pointing out of foolishness as 'liberal left name calling'
In reality, if aog or The Daily Wail took that ineptitude with numbers and facts into any decent UK Board Room they'd be laughed out of the room.

I repeat "no one is saying that", the fact remains that we have a huge amount of foreign prisoners in our jails, just another downside of our multi immigration problem.
/// So all it proves is that they are no better or no worse than us. But that is not he conclusion you have taken from the table. ///
Don't assume any conclusion that I have taken, it matters not of whether or not they are any worse than us, what does matter is the fact that we don't want them in our jails, we have quite enough of our own criminals.

Well, "Some 'not So Good Figures' Attached To Immigration" doesn't require much 'assuming'
"not so good" = Bad
Whilst it would be lovely in some make believe world if immigrants were all angels, if in fact their prison population figures are on par with the indigenous population it doesn't suggest a particular issue with those immigrants although The Daily Wail half-truth (and probably you with your parroting of it) might want to encourage that inaccurate impression.

/See what I mean about 'special privileges'/
yes aog is right. Poles have benefited from 'special privileges' in the UK
So far as I know, the incidences of Polish women being shouted at in the street "Go home dirty Poles" or young Poles being chased by gangs of yobs shouting "We're going to kick the sh1t out of you, you stinking Pole"
are thankfully few and far between

///There are twice as many Pakistanis in the UK than there are Poles.
But according to the table you linked to, Pakistanis in prison is nearly half that of Poles.

no, it proves that Pakistanis claim British citizenship asap.

Can you please tell me where you resorted to 'name calling in the typical left liberal manner' in your post, because I can't find it. //
I'm sorry sp
I've been looking carefully but I have to report that I can't find any name-calling in my post either.
It may be that people are confusing a reasoned criticism of a behaviour or a piece of tabloid journalism with calling people names.
Though for the life of me I can't see how they could be so confused.
Perhaps it's not a confusion in reasoning, just a thoughtless knee-jerk reaction to an opinion that challenges their own patterns of thinking?
