Is it really worth it?

Are they so busy they cannot pull over for 30 secs?

I know Facebook is a tool of the Devil but to grasp people and clearly addict them to the point of killing themselves with gross stupidity and risking others' lives into the bargain must show something has to be done.

Can't they put a motion sensor or GPS onto facebook that stops it being used? Same for Texts and whatsapp?

Sadly YMB, as the Darwin awards site illustrates, stupid people have always found ways of improving the gene pool. Mobile phones etc have merely provide a whole new tranche of ways of doing it. I too find the popularity of facetube and tw&tter quite confusing but then again I know that the average IQ is 100 and 50% of people are thick a pig sh1te and 50% of them are thicker even than that! what hope is there?

Nothing new, it isnt just facebook, its all mobile phones, people read books and maps while driving, fiddle radios and CD players and roll cigarettes, drink and eat whilst driving. But of course they are all "tools of the Devil" as well I'm sure.

no stats needed roy, it is generally accepted that 100 is the average IQ, the rest is simple arithmetic. ie if the average is 100 then 50% are thicker and 50% of those, ie 25% or the stupidest.

It's a shame some peoples lack of responsibility puts others in danger.
Do we need a "nanny state" which tells us all what we can do and when?

You accept that 50% have a below average IQ, right? "thick as pig sh1te" is the label I chose for them. I did not correlate any level of intelligence with facetube etc, though I do sometimes wonder why people have a use for it. Then again I find a lot of things people do innexplicable.

I have an IQ of 155, but I can't drive and could never work out how to take a picture of myself with my phone. I did try and ended up taking one of my little boy (my avatar).

Anyway - there are too many morons on the road. If they are only going to get themselves killed then okay. But they usually take out a few innocent people too.
