a Barrister, she should know better.
fancy wrecking your career for that man

Briscoe remains on bail and the judge will pass sentence on Friday morning.

The judge Mr Justice Baker warned: "It's almost inevitable there will be a custodial sentence."
The question must be,'why did she do it'?
roughly

The court has heard that Miss Briscoe had helped economist Miss Pryce, who was a friend and also her neighbour, to reveal information about the points-swapping scandal surrounding Mr Huhne to newspapers.
she is not a victim, and in fact the author of her own downfall
they all come out of this smelling of poo
It gets worse/better...

"Carmen Briscoe-Mitchell, 80, unsuccessfully sued for libel over the autobiography, calling her daughter "a liar and a fantasist" and now hopes for a re-examination of the 2008 libel trial in the light of Thursday's verdict."
wow
3T you have to read the news before commenting on it

The judge committed perjury.
v v bad
goes to jail
does not pass "Go!"
does not collect hefty judges' pension

what on earth was she thinking of ?

Playing for high stakes for three points for chrissakes

you can now see why Bercow - Nigel Evans' boss in the commons said that he could not get involved in the recent case R v Nigel Evans

and THAT really is what Constance Briscoe should have said
a friend of Vicky Price, helping her get one over on the husband, how the mighty fall
As this woman is a Barrister and part-time Judge, we can only expect a custodial sentence. However long she gets will be nothing compared to the ruination of her career in the law. Hume and his wife have a lot to answer for.
well if she hadn't followed Price then she wouldn't be in this mess.
Not arguing with you for one minute emmie...daft woman. She of all people, given her legal background, should have known better. But the Bar needs more woman and black people, so this is not a good day for anybody.
it doesn't need more lying black women. She shouldn't have got involved; when she did, she shouldn't have lied. Her choice, sad to say.
She made her own choices - sadly the wrong ones.
You have to go to the bar with clean hands mickey - you are advocating positive discrimination - the most blatant form of racism imo.
I am suggesting nothing of the sort. Stop putting words in my mouth, as I am more than capable of doing that myself, and rather better than you it would seem.

/// But the Bar needs more woman and black people, ///

Seems like you are advocating positive discrimination, to me.
AOG, I think micky has the uglies with me for even suggesting it sounds like discrimination.
