Simply mind boggling.
Just what the hell is going on in the Justice system?
Doubtless they'll shortly be in an open prison and we can only guess how that will turn out after recent events........
Poor Ms Stone must be very worried.

From the facts presented I can't see any justification in reducing their tariffs, but then, like others here on AB, I don't have access to all the facts.
Of course, just because they 'could' be released from prison in 2016/2017 doesn't mean they will be.
Obviously the State paid for the Appeal - it's the State's judicial system!

I expect they would have been more harshly treated (as some ABers would no doubt wish) in China, North Korea, Russia or Saudi Arabia.
Draw your own conclusions.

These wicked individuals are probably rejoicing at their new, more lenient sentences. Meanwhile poor Joss Stone will spend the rest of her life looking over her shoulder, living in fear for her safety.
Justice should serve the victims and protect the innocent, not those who cannot abide by the law or pose a risk to society.
