Not sure if anyone is interested but here is YouGovs Poll, published this morning :::

http://yougov.co.uk/news/2014/05/20/euro-election-voting-intention/

Labour......28
UKIP.........24
Tories.......21
Greens......12
LibDems....10 ( oh dear )

As you can see from the helpful graph, UKIP's support is sliding fast. Nice to see the Greens doing well though.

NJ Also, younger people are more liberal in their outlook than older folk. Whilst older people may welcome such statements as 'Lenny Henry can go and live in a black country', 'If we shot one poofter etc...', 'gay people don't deserve equal treatment', 'I wouldn't want Romanians living next door to me'...I think that your average 18 to 35 year old would wince...

naomi ...its not disagreeing with me that is the problem...its the denial of evidence. I have produced ample indications today that dave is going to lose on Thursday. Not only losing but coming 3rd. And if he doesn't buck his ideas up, he will be on the back benches this time next year, just like Hague, IDS and Howard before him.

If everything is so hunky-dory for dave and the Tories, where is the evidence ? No amount of spinning by you is going to alter that.
Ah but what about us folk who have sent in our postal votes ?
Dave and/or Ed may well lose this mickey mouse election but it's irrelevant. MEP's have no effect on anything. They turn up get what they can out of the trough, make a few speeches and sl&g off rumpy pumpy now and again. The Public therefore use this whole charade as a protest vote. If you are so certain that Labour will form the next goverenement lay me 100-1 on the tories then, no?? thought not, not that sure are we! Elections are like sports the true measure of someones view is their willingness or not to back it with their own money.
Many more debacles like Croydon today and UKIP will be fighting the Lib Dems for 5th place. You really couldn't make that up :-)
Mikey, I'm not spinning anything. You're the one continuously posting polls that suit your purpose. The rest you ignore. You spin because you assume that other people are fools - and frankly I don't like that. However, I'd hazard a guess that you're not as smart as you like to think you are because most here can see exactly what you're up to. MTH, Mikey!!
mushroom; //ed's [Milliband] choices were:-
Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika – South African National Anthem
Jerusalem
The Ballad of Joe Hill – Paul Robeson
Take on Me – A-Ha
Sweet Caroline – Neil Diamond
Angels – Robbie Williams
Change of time – Josh Ritter
Je ne regrette rien – Edith Piaf //
I'm amazed you trouble to write the list and fail to see how contrived they are? What a fabrication designed by committee !
In an attempt to counter this with an act of supreme inverted snobbery David ("Call me Dave") Cameron chose Benny Hill's, 'Ernie' - (he drove the fastest milk-cart in the west.) - I can't trust either of them.
I'm not certain, but I don't think Mr. Farage has yet been invited, I'm not sure I can trust him either, but I think he is his at least his own man, and wouldn't need help.

Naomi

I agree Mikey accepts these predictions far too easily especially when they support his own opinion.

I doubt the poll in the OP will reflect the number of seats won on Thursday, and the order of the parties. The Greens will not get more seats than the LibDems because the poll ignores the geography and distribution of the Greens supporters.

When the results are in we can compare it to the predicted results in the OP. I predicted there will be a big difference particularly in placings (but I may be wrong).

Perhaps at a later date we can then have a discussion on the merits, accuracy or otherwise of opinion polls, and whether they are useful or not.
Gromit, I dislike disingenuousness and I don't like to see people taken for fools - and that's what I see here.

a daft remark, the UKIP are not remotely like the Nazis and to continue to suggest it is doing many of their supporters a great disservice. If we likened the Labour party continually as Marxist, communists, wouldn't that be as bad.
those in the Nazi party ultimately caused a global war, killings on an industrial scale, so please excuse me while i consider the two UKIP - Nazi party, no can't see it, and i wish some would think before they type.
//If you want a Nazi state by Friday, don't vote on Thursday. //

Really? How will that happen then?
i would like to know that as well.
And answers came there none (how astonishing !!!)
