Thanks for the link,

Sheer incompetence by a quango then?
Quango? What Quango would that be?

Nothing to say about the re-election of the Mayor?
the electorate clearly don't believe the whiff of scandal perpetrated about their mayor by the labour party.

There are several Asian Councillors in Leeds now, the word is that the mosques are advising the faithfull to vote Labour. Not sure how the poll is vetted.
Somewhere has to be the last to come in
AOG you are obviously a telepath...

The Beeb had a bit about this where the Returning Officer for TH was interviewed and a proper anglo-sxon insisted that HE hadnt noticed anything untoward. Tue 1600 R4

' There was voting propaganda in the cubicles - is that true ? ' asked the Beeb boy aggressively and the R O gave the fateful oopsy reply of:

'I am not aware of that, there were none when I inspected.'

Hmm - no sign of 'of course not dont be stupid.'

We ( the Beeb, the boy said ) have rung the Electoral Commission and they have said they are very concerned - well they havent shared that with me, said the R O

So I am not surprised TH was the last to come in....
