I hope they throw the book at him!

I was never a Fan,
It would never occur to me to try and defend a sex-offender, but
have I missed the bit where he's been found guilty already?
Oh please...I think in this case we can safely assume he's guilty.
He's been to prison in the UK for child pornography offences, not sex with a minor.

So why bother with a Court Case, let's lynch him now!
So, instead of a fair trial with no pre-judgment, why don't we drag him to a football stadium and shoot him with an AK47, while shouting "It is the will of Allah!"

some good ideas on this thread.
No need for the AK47 if he has been taken to a football stadium, JJ.
The knuckle draggers will sort him out.

Plenty of previous form here. "On 2 March 2006 Glitter was tried on charges of committing obscene acts with two girls, aged 10 and 11, facing up to 14 years in prison if convicted. The following day he was found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison"

All here for everybody to see ::::

He was acquitted for sex offences against a 14 year old. The now grown up woman had already sold her story to News of the World with the promise of more money if he were found guilty.

I assume this is a different woman.

Everybody...just read the Wiki entry for goodness sake !
Charged one day and found guilty the very next day. He always denied those charges, claiming the girls were over 18.

as Mandy Rice Davies said "he would wouldn't he" ^^^^^^

I am surprised that anybody is doubting that this odious character is anything other than a serious peadophile. At least 19 countries, including Cuba, Cambodia, and the Philippines, announced that they would refuse to admit Glitter.

I agree that we have to go through the motions with this new British trial, but would anybody on here want him anywhere near any female relative of theirs, especially those under the age of 16 ?

In November 1997, I too was in the Bristol branch of PC World, about 30 mins after he had been arrested and taken away by the Plods. I didn't know what was up when I went into the store, but people were standing around, whispering, and there was a definite "buzz"

I asked the assistant what was going on, and he told me that Gary Glitter had been in. The store had recently had a re-vamp, so I asked if he had been a celebrity guest. No, I was told...he's just been arrested for child porn images on his computer !
Has illegal porn on computer ...

Takes it in for repair ...

He should have got a longer sentence for being stupid.

DB...This man is a convicted peadophile. He has been hounded out of every far east country where child prostitution is rife. Of course he is due a fair trial and as this is Britain and not some banana republic, he will very likely get one.

But answer my last question...would you be happy if he came round to play with your little girl ?
