Are you suggesting that being Asian is a handicap, gromit?
Is this to do with demographics, though? There is a considerably high ethnic population from the subcontinent in the Medway Towns (they're just up the road from us)
Demographics has nothing to do with it – or shouldn’t. If people in a particular area are in need of housing we should do our best provide it regardless of the ethnic origin of the potential tenant. We’re quite often angrily reminded here that at one time it wasn’t uncommon to see signs in boarding house windows stating ‘No Irish, no blacks, no dogs’ - unacceptable of course - but substitute 'Irish’ for ‘Brits’ and ‘whites’ for ‘blacks’. Is that more comfortable? If we have laws then they must apply to all. This is not only a matter of principle – this organisation is quite blatantly breaking the law.
could it be a misprint

So he's breaking the law too. What are you trying to say? That it negates Orbit's failings? It doesn't.
naomi have a listen it is only short vid
Oh my....... how funny .... sorry, Dr.F. I should have watched the whole thing. Very good. My mistake. :o)
they are all a bunch of crooks -:)
I wouldn't say that. As far as I'm concerned they're running a business - but they shouldn't be above the law.
him in the video -:)
Oh, I see. Sorry, I misunderstood. :o)
I lived in Chatham in the sixties .There were a lot of immigrants way back then .I hadn't been back for donkeys years until I went to my old school reunion there some eight or so years ago now at Fort Pitt .
It wasn't a bad place to live in those days ,the dockyard was thriving and my dad and brother worked there .Once they closed the dockyard it became a deprived area .
I doubt the fact that a bit of social housing for whatever ethnicity people are will make much difference. The place is a dump these days.
When I went back after all those years I was really shocked as to how the place had changed .

All we need now is a 'whites only' organisation. ;-)
Oh Shaney, school reunions!!!! I went to one a few years ago and those beautifully oak-lined hallowed and much respected halls that had once been immersed in books and learning had been transformed into graffiti, plastic, and signs reading ‘No spitting’. It broke my heart. :o(
Svejk, it's never going to happen.
my guess'd be its illegal, Naomi. ;o)
My old school was wonderful naomi in spite of the fact it was in Chatham:)
It was originally a military hospital visited twice by Queen Victoria and it was the first Army Medical School established by Florence Nightingale in 1860.

Naomi, has Cheltenham Ladies college really sank so low?
Maybe it was Roedean?
