Mrs yes, you are correct, ASQ
Theresa May should resign she has made so many mistakes of recent it is unbelieveable she is not up to the job
Butler Sloss should not have been offered the Post at all, Tory Chums Club.

Makes you wonder how serious they are in getting to the bottom of this.
Just as I pressed submit, I realised 'getting to the bottom of this' was probably not the best phrase to use.
It's a disgrace - she is more than qualified for the job and a slur on her objectivity, something she has prided herself on in her long and distinguished career. All 3 party leaders had backed her too.

Gromit...serious perhaps but probably not very enthusiastic, as turkeys are seldom keen on Xmas. Its obvious to everyone that once this investigation gets under way, an awful lot of skeletons are going to start tumbling out of cupboards.

I watched Mrs May live today in the Commons Committee and she comes across as a very capable person. But on this issue she and her advisers have erred. It now appears that Butler-Sloss should not have been appointed. I have no doubts about her personal integrity but she is too close to the subject matter and the people that will be giving evidence. I hope Mrs May finally pulls her finger out once and for all and gets this enquiry under way without any further delay.
Could always appoint one Mrs. Booth, if they want a woman. Major splutter

When John Profumo 1963 said: I am not a liar
he was supported by Mr Macmillan whom everyone liked - and Mac knew he ( Profumo ) was lying. One of the party hacks commented oh mac was an inveterate liar himself....

Suppose one of the Kray twins tweeted ('yeah she a diamond geezer, she banged me up to rights !) would we think more or less of Lady Butler Sloss ?
Irrelevant to this case. Move on.
dtc Mrs Booth QC blotted her copy book over the Palestinians didnt she ?

well she is out for a start - *** her chances in the High Court as well, they say.
Mrs Booth is too close to a lying coverer-up as well, if you take this logic about Her Justice Butler through.
What a pity that Mother Teresa is no longer with us. She would have made an ideal Chair for this enquiry.....A living saint, who lived so far away from Westminster that she couldn't possibly have known anybody associated with this case.
I thought it was decided Mother Teresa was actually not so saintly?
Perhaps saintly was too strong a word Roy !
The Baroness is 80 years old now, quite a lot of work for the lady to take on, quite apart from having link to Westminster. She was obviously headhunted to do the job by people who hadn't thought about her suitability. At least she has resigned before this takes off........if it ever does. Historic cases are becoming costly, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were no files to be found now.
He would never do it, but I would like someone like Sir Harold Evans.
