I really don't know, perhaps it's to get away from the Westminster suits who seem to be infesting the country up here telling us how better we would be 'together'.
For years Politicians have been spouting that they now what is best for Scotland from south of the border. Why should Wee Eck not join in?

Well, we have to listen to Cameron, Clegg and crew and we certainly didn't vote for them. They come up her sprouting their lies - bunch of two faced hypocrites. Why shouldn't AS have his say in England?

I couldn't agree more maggie, you deserve independence. Me and all my English friends would vote yes if we could.

Salmond falls in the mould of Johnson then, not the brightest cookie ever to emerge from the hallowed Main Quad of St Andrews and St Salvators College, a 2:2 Joint Honours MA in Economics and Medieval History in May 1978.
