Don't see how it's bad news seeing as the party expelled her in 2009...sounds like they are being serious about clearing out the real rubbish..
Question Author
Perhaps they shouldn't have recruited her in the first place ?
Deary me mikey, can you hear that noise?

It's you, scraping the side of the barrel.
Question Author
Knew that would annoy some of the UKIP apologists on AB !
Mikey,I dont think this news impacts on Farage.Had corrective party action not been taken earlier it may be a bit different.

We have seen plenty of underhand activities across all the leading parties over expense fiddles, etc
The woman was expelled four years ago mikey, you might as well say that the Labouring Party didn't half pick their lot - Ed Minibrain and Balls. Dear me poor Nigel doesn't deserve all this flack.
Question Author
Yes we have and whenever its a Labour politician, the Right are quick to point it out. I am merely making sure that when its a Far Right politician, similar approbrium is due.
If it is wrong,it is wrong irrespective of who it is or which party they represent...
As ever mikey, a 'very minor politician' appears to fill your every waking thought.

Keep trying.

No argument with you there agchristie ( 16:05 )
The problem with UKIP is that it is a protest party - it's for people who don't like things like : Europe, Immigration etc etc - it doesn't stand for anything positive!
Ukip will take a few votes off the Tories/Lab but that is just about it...
Question Author
Mick...be careful...that sounded a bit like common sense to me !
Looks like Ms Sinclaire's trial isn't going to produce much in the way of positive PR for UKIP

"The charges relate to my time as a UKIP MEP when I was under the guidance and oversight by the party in the Parliament.

"It was also me, who in 2010, drew the attention of the West Midlands Police, to irregularities I discovered had taken place, without my knowledge, in my UKIP office."
Question Author
askyourgran..."poor Nigel" and "Minibrain"........not the most balanced of replies was it !

Poor Nigel...I have heard everything now ! He is earning far too much for not attending at Brussels to be poor surely ?
That is unfair. Farage was not the leader of the Party when this woman was elected. She was dismissed from the Party 4 years ago, again before Farage was in charge. She stood as an independent in June.

A non story, especially in respect to Farage's leadership.

You've chosen a wrong one this time, as others have pointed out she is no longer a member of UKIP.

/// Yes we have and whenever its a Labour politician, the Right are quick to point it out. I am merely making sure that when its a Far Right politician, similar approbrium is due. ///

She is not a Far-Right supported either, since she was expelled from UKIP after she refused to sit with a Far-Right Italian party.

*** Ms Sinclair, who was born a man but had gender reassignment surgery when she was 23, once stood for the Ukip leadership but was expelled from the party after she refused to sit with a far-right Italian party in the European Parliament which was allied to Ukip. ***

Back to the polls Mikey you are more accustomed to those.
/she is no longer a member of UKIP./

BUT according to the news report, Ms Sinclaire states

"The charges relate to my time as a UKIP MEP when I was under the guidance and oversight by the party in the Parliament.

"It was also me, who in 2010, drew the attention of the West Midlands Police, to irregularities I discovered had taken place, without my knowledge, in my UKIP office."
