Look down the 'Aircraft' column to see where '2Lancs' is shown here, and then click the links for further information:

I must learn to type faster (or to get an anti-virus program that doesn't lock my computer up for several minutes when it updates!)

Ha ha cheers Chris and jno. A sight to see don't you think?
and what antivirus programme do you recommend, Buenchico...
Question Author
Snigger.
you haven't seen us flying in formation, Zacs... though if his programmes lock him out again, I may have to go solo

And he's not as old as the Lancs!
>>>and what antivirus programme do you recommend, Buenchico

Actually there's nothing absolutely nothing wrong with my antivirus program (Avast). It's probably more to do with the fact that I'm using an elderly desktop that I bought for only a few quid. (I typically pay around £20, at auction, for my computers!)

Yeah yeah yeah. Course it is. ;-)
Returning (sort of) to the topic of the post:
Did you know that you can loop-the-loop in a Lancaster? My father worked as a ground crew member on a Lancaster base and told me that one of their pilots was let off very lightly after a plane's chemical toilet crashed through a bulkhead when he looped-the-lop in the aircraft. The reason? He was celebrating VE Day ;-)

Try doing that in a Heinkel 177!
Brilliant, looks like we get two on Aug 30th. Looking forward to that one!
Thanks for that useful information Zac, although it is most strange that while the Canadian Lanc is in England, they don't take the opportunity to fly with our Lanc over Derwent Dam, the water over which the Dambusters carried out their practice runs for that historic mission?

Good point AOG.
today's flight was postponed because of the weather
