Heroin addicts are to be given a free foil on the NHS. I assume this is a free fix. What about free cancer drugs for people who are paying thousands for them. Druggies must be jumping for joy. Free Whisky will be next for alkies.

I know registered alcoholics on benefits used to get an extra £15.00 per week, it was supposedly to stop them spending all the money on booze and not having any money to feed their kids. I have no idea if they still get it these days.

no ferlew that is not true, alcoholics maybe entitled to benefits for other reasons , but I can assure you not to buy booze.

The person said he could always get extra cash, by various threats to break the law, whilst on a bender.

I know an alcoholic who used to get extra cash on his JSA to buy booze!
About 5 years back now but he definitely got it.

I believe there are free needles available. Even so, needles might be shared and diseases spread. The foil is another way to use their drugs.

Jeza, some addicts get free needles to inject themselves to stop people sharing them and spreading disease, even though syringes are very cheap to buy.
Free foil is just a better alternative
