Well at least they didn't get the compo which was probably the driving factor for the cons and their briefs. I wonder if it was no win no fee ?

But they still think they can tell us what is right and what is wrong.

So a bit of sitting on the fence. One has to wonder if this is due to being worried the UK(minus Scotland because they will be out of it soon anyway) could leave all things European if there is not change?

It looks more like they've decided to go against the UK government (no surprises whatsoever - they always do), but stopped short of opening the floodgates to thousands of compensation claims (ie 1 from every prisoner) which would put us up *** creek.

Political game playing rather than the objective weighing of facts that it would have us believe it is.
