Meanwhile "heavily intoxicated". Folk are not in their right minds at that point. The issue is allowing themselves to get that way in the first place more than what it is they actually do.

Rather uncalled for Baldric ? The essential spirit of my post was intact, even if I got it a tad wrong.

However this chap is, he is either very, very brave or a complete idiot. I know the area well and a large part of the population of any Pub in Brecon is likely to be soldiers, as the huge SENTA range is just up the road, and Brecon is stuffed full of Gurkhas, as they are based there. My brother served in the Army for a few years and the only thing that scared him more than his Sgtn. Major were the Gurkhas !
