When it just flashed up on a Sky News alert on my phone I certainly was surprised because I'd never heard of it!

Not surprised, no. Clackmannanshire is viewed as fairly representative of the whole of Scotland and the result is pretty much in line with the latest YouGov poll. Still early days yet though. Only accounts for about 1% of the vote.

^ Yes Sandy. I suppose that's the price we pay for being so trusting at polling stations and not requiring any ID. Still ten votes out of 300,000 is not really a significant fraud.

That would be Orkney, v-e - no plural and certainly no definite article required, as with Shetland.

^I think that's a more significant result v_e. I would have expected a 'yes' victory there.

They are saying that Barra and South Uist voted 74% Yes, but Benbecula, North Uist, Harris and Lewis all voted overwhelmingly No.
