The Spanish Government named a public square in Madrid,
The Margaret Thatcher Plaza on 15 Sept this year.
It has been defaced twice since it was named , it would appear that she was
not very well thought of in Spain either.???

linking wondering why something has been defaced
with - whaddya mean she won three elections ?
was a spectacular non-sequitur
. In terms of naming - Franklin D Roosevelt and Gandhi top the lists of street names and plazas dont they ?
and yes there are very few Truman Plazas who modern historians look on as a hopeless incompetent
I thought the obvious defacer would be a Brit tourist
