That reminds me of a remark made by a Tory MP (might have been Heseltine but not sure) in 1977 when the Liberals entered a pact to shore up the minority Labour government.

I am now having some sympathy with Newmark as this appears to have been a 'sting' by the Mirror, a paper I wouldn't wipe my bottom with for fear of contamination.
