No military in this country. The idea that we'd leave the country without any military force is not even worth considering.

Gain control "how do you know they couldn't". The onus is on the proposer of the idea (in your case, that radicals could take over the country) to prove his point, otherwise it becomes a little 'playground'.

I'm fairly certain that the threat of extremism will not result in the UK becoming a Muslim state. There simply aren't enough Muslims who want or would support this.

Anyone ever heard the saying ' you talk a good fight'?
That is exactly what is happening here.
Imagine for a split second that what you are saying will come to pass begins.
Say a suicide bomber blows up Tescos or Sainsburies or wherever leading to the death of hundreds of non Muslims. Do you think the Kuffar will have terror in their hearts? No they won't they will have revenge in their hearts and they will counter attack, ordinary people I mean, not just radicalised Jihadists but any poor law abiding Muslim they can find and all hell will break loose.
I imagine most Muslims know this in their hearts as ' normal nice middle Englanders' rhetoric has become over the last few years less tolerant, more suspicious and more 'patriotic'.
If anyone was foolhardy enough to try this on a mass scale it would bring about misery and destruction to the Muslim community in Britian as there are a fair few people just itching for this to kick off so they have the excuse they are looking for for the exteremist right wing views.
I'm personally not worried about it happening because most Muslims would know the consequences of it and it's just logistically unfeasible.
