I want to know why "Smokies" are illegal and seen as unhygienic

You can buy Smokies in Ridley Road Market, Stoke Newington. I've tried the meat and it is absolutely revolting.

The lamb we eat has been skinned - that's where we get sheepskin from.

Smokies haven't been skinned, only sheared, then the skin is blow torched. They are illegal because the cuts are sold with the banned spinal cords and other bits and bobs that should be discarded.

The smokies are an excellent way for farmers to get rid of substandard meat. Whether or not it can ever be processed in a way to meet the UK's food regulations, I don't know.

The reason they are illegal is simple, the eussr can and does do what it wants !

they will decide what is and what isnt good for you !
they will decide what you can and cant do !
they will if given the chance decide what you can and cant think !
