Two "police" stories from today, which would almost be funny if they were not so serious:

Not my idea of funny.
I have just seen these two on the BBC News website and its truly amazing. You would think that the Police would stop digging when they find themselves in a hole but apparently not !
Welcome back VHG.

Now there's a sentence you don't see very often.
"The officer involved was a fully-trained firearms officer, Mr Tipping said, but was not currently on firearms duties, pending the outcome of the investigation.". The officer needs retraining.
"A Police Federation representative confirmed they were supporting the officer involved but could not comment any further at this stage." They have to, as federation rep. It won't matter though as he will be dismissed from duty.
Good grief,we want to instil respect in our children - not sheer terror when they see a policeman.
Oh come on they didnt mean to !

( youngest person ever to be tazered I think was a 6 year old but not in this country )
