I suppose when you're a fledgling party you have to have a few strange bedfellows. No?

What bothers me the most about this story is how little it will make a difference -- indeed, if anything the stranger the bedfellows UKIP is associated with the stronger its support seems to get. The entire line of attack seems pretty pointless at the moment...

You have a point Jim. I try to enlighten potential voters to UKIP's foibles but maybe all I'm doing is creating positive propoganda. I would like to see some of ABs female UKIP supporters's opinions.
Why is this in 'news'.
Question Author
Because it came from a news paper. Any intelligent comments?

Taking bets on the first person to say that the Tories and Labour have equally unsavoury partners in Europe.

I believe that's called 'deflection'.
Bloody hell...!

[i]he thinks women’s opinions are shaped by the sperm of the men they sleep with, that they are “on average” less clever than men, and that nearly half of women who tell a man they don’t want to have sex with them are feigning reluctance and should be ignored.[i]
Question Author
Sp, there's 'unsavoury' and there's out and out loony tunes.
Apologies Zac-Master. I too have failed to respond properly,

I think Farage should offer an immediate clarification either to support or denounce the views of these new partners.

Of course, just because two parties align, doen't mean they support all views held (look at the Coalition partners, for instance).

Perhaps UKIP simply didn't have a large enough pool of potential partners to choose from?
Question Author
Pool! Muddy puddle it would seem.
But it's not news. It's a comment piece. A re-hash of old stories. There's a lot of real news about this morning. Like T. Blair getting £40,000 a month off the biggest troublemakers in the middle-east while masquerading as a peace envoy. The imminent disintegration of the Labour party. You and your fellow anti-ukippers have already had one bite at this when it was news a few months ago. That is why it shouldn't be in the 'news' section. The cross-words are 'in' the papers, lol.
Want thus bebated not so long ago?

Looks to me like labourites are defecting from all tge bad labour news today.
Svejk

There is a tradition on the News section of repeating questions on the News section where new angles emerge from existing sources.

However, in this instance, I believe this a new association (between UKIP and 'interesting' EU partners) and therefore warrants debate.

I mean, you'd hardly want to shut down debate on say, the MOBO awards or the latest activities of Doreen Lawrence, just because someone else had raised a similar question in the past.
Zacs....Its seems to me that Farage could have chosen dozens of other mates, even 100's of others, so quite why he has chosen this *** is beyond me.

Farage is his own worst enemy sometimes...he needs to learn than when you are in a hole, its best to stop digging.
Question Author
Svejk, if you let me have your email address, I'll make sure to ask your permission before posting anything which you (the self appointed Chief Constable of the News section) may not consider news.

Mikey, yes, a strange 'partnership' indeed but maybe MrF is playing his old trick of 'let's see who we outrage / encourage' as a barometer of public feeling so that he can then formulate vote winning policies, although it's hard to see anyone in their right mind who would ally themselves with this individual's views.

not news.

You don't stop digging if you want to get out of it.
Question Author
Yes yes yes, you've made your opinion v clear.
Question Author
Well remembered Balders. No mention of the 'rape' angle tho. Which the female UKIP supporters seem to be ignoring.
