They are only her opinions, is this against the law now? She is not inciting violence, only saying what she thinks.

I think she's just everything but a nice girl and the 'rodents' remark was totally uncalled for, but arrest the vacuous creature? No, just let her drown in the cesspit of her own opinions- we are all entitled to do that.

There seems to be some inference that the account was hacked, possibly she did not even send them. Or perhaps she did and is wriggling. Who ever sent them, there are some valid points.

It would be nice to think that these comments cause her to lose her 'celebrity' profile and thus disappear from public view.

Katie Hopkins is proud to make a career of being 'hate bait' for the media - she says something simultaniously facile and outrageous, and people jump to condemn and insult her.

I thought she had an interesting comeupance when she appeared on Celebrity Juice. Reference was made to her deliberate gaining of four stone in weight in order to 'prove' that weight loss is entirely down to willpower (!).

Ms Hopkins made some cod-self-depricating remark (she wouldn't know self-deprication if it jumped up and shouted Boo at her!) about how funny it would be if she was unable to lose the weight, and people would say 'Serves the fat cow right ....

Comedian Chris Ramsey scored a bullseye by advising her that it wouldn;t happen, because people would not judge her by her weight, only people like her did that.

The woman is a joke, and it is a sad indightment of society that her nonsense is given house room by any media, but it works - here we are talking about her, which is of course the object of the exercise.

If she made these remarks that it should be investigated by the Police, as they could be interpreted as arousing racial hatred.

But I think we should wait until its clear if her account was hacked or not.

I agree with naomi24 on this - these tweets look extremely suspect. The language used, and the way these thoughts have been expressed do not sound like her at all.

I could be wrong, but if she issued a statement saying that her Twitter account had indeed been hacked, I would believe her.

Sidebar - she was once on This Morning, berating parents who gave their children names which are places - such as 'Dakota', because this indicates that they are common.

Philip Schofield looks shocked and then said, "But you have a daughter called India!!!"

She replied, "Ah, but that's not a place".

You have to bow down and genuflect to someone like that.
