Seems strange to me, as he is an ex-Labour MP himself. The Party that he invented, Respect, is a socialist party, so I don't understand why he doesn't use his considerable powers as a debater and campaigner to unseat a Tory MP for a change.

I have a feeling that I know why, because his is keener to promote George Galloway than do anything useful. Still, I suppose we must respect his strength, his courage and his indefatigability.
