Sandy, you have similar view to GG? I salute your indifatigability!

A gaol sentence would put off anyone with sense. I suspect the rest don;t take any notice assuming they won't be caught.

Especially true if drug addled.

Not sure what the sentence should be, but experiencing and being taught about understanding what they do to others, might have some affect, if they are not beyond redemption. If made to think/understand consequences, it may cause a change in behaviour.
Would a longer sentence have assuaged Galloway's alleged immediate fears ?
What do you think the sentence would have been if it was Joe Bloggs that was attacked?
P.S. Sixty is hardly "elderly"
Sixty is the new thirty !

(Or that's what government thinks as it ups the pension qualifying age)
FOJ, now a FOCS, you excell yourself Canary!

Canary42, I know 60 isn't 'elderly' but the phrase, 'elderly victim', carries more emotional impact.
Sixty??????? Elderly????????????????????????

How very dare you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous George seems to be saying 'I am too old for this'

I have to say he has guts - i know he praised Saddam H when er no one else was - but what sticks in my mind is when he flew to The Land of The Free and gave some committee hell. His point was - where is your evidence for all this ? and 'they' refused to carry any report of his speech, so in the end the President of the Short Hand writers fed said that he had transcribed it himself as he could find no one else to do it. [ There is this bizarre self censorship innn the land of the free ).
I can't believe that anyone who's prepared to pretend to be a cat and lick rula lenska on live TV is going to be afraid of a two-bit street thug.
I'm pretty sure he'll be back to his fire-branding maximum during March and April in the run up to the Election.
Question Author
There are men, and not all of them elderly by any means, who would queue patiently for a chance to lick Rula.
Dennis Waterman - licked and left didnt he ?
Question Author
Jabs, right hooks, uppercuts, and then left. :-(
Well sandy, it wasn't the first time he'd licked a 'Rula/ruler's @rse, was it?
Question Author
Yes, his 'indefatiguable' speech left a bad taste in the mouth.
I dont have much sympathy for Galloway as he courts contraversy and every so often you are going to get the deranged nutter who wont act like the rest of it. I dont accept his being afraid of going out, with some of the things he has said over the years, dark alley must have been out of bounds for decades.

However, thuggery is thuggery. Add into this people should keep foreign political battles off our streets. Galloway is entitled to his opinion, we have free speech, and these sorts of people must start to understand this. 16 months is not enough.

I note that, yest again, it is a convert.

A Convert, . . so it was, had forgotten that!

26 Apr 2012 - Why did George Galloway feel the urge to keep his conversion to Islam secret?
' Violent Thug ' eh Sandy, a bit different approach to the violent thug in your 12:45 Fri 12th Dec 2014 response to the USA riots post methinks.
Question Author
AOG, it's the fact that a man near to my own age, and holding similar political views, feels that he can't safely walk on a London street without running the risk of assault from a drug-crazed Zionist that chiefly concerns me. As it should all right thinking people.
