Sadly many Asians (not all) are past masters at various types of frauds and scams. It is very common in their home countries. Here in Birmingham almost every person who has been arrested for voter fraud is Asian. Also almost all the people (not all) arrested for "crash for cash" scams where car accidents are staged to claim on the insurance or for whiplash...

Just because two votes were cast does not mean he voted twice. He says he voted once, in person. Reading between the lines, it sounds like the card from his old address was either used by someone else, or used as a postal vote. Either way, that does not necessarily mean this councillor is guilty. There does appear to be a voting irregularity, but who perpetrated the fraud is not immediately clear. His arrest would be to interview him under caution to expediate the investigation.

ELECTORAL FRAUD VULNERABILITIES IN SPECIFIC AREAS
While the data reported by the police shows that every UK police force
has investigated cases of alleged or suspected electoral fraud in the last three
years, it is clear that there are some areas where cases are more
frequently reported and therefore investigated. These areas are generally limited to individual wards within a number of local authority areas. We have identified the following 16 local authority areas (out of just over 400 across the UK as a whole) where there appears to be a greater risk of cases of alleged electoral fraud being reported:
•
Birmingham
•
Blackburn with Darwen
•
Bradford
•
Burnley
•
Calderdale
•
Coventry
•
Derb
y
•
Hyndburn
•
Kirklees
•
Oldham
•
Pendle
•
Peterborough
•
Slough
•
Tower Hamlets
•
Walsall
•
Woking
These areas are often characterised by being densely populated with a
transient population, a high number of multiple occupancy houses and a
previous history of allegations of electoral fraud.
These areas are also often home to communities with a diverse range of
nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. We have heard some strongly held
views, based in particular on reported first hand experience by some
campaigners and elected representatives, that electoral fraud is more likely to
be committed by or in support of candidates standing for election in areas
which are largely or predominately populated by some South Asian
communities, specifically those with roots in parts of Pakistan or Bangladesh.

Zacs at the last census 4.8% of the UK population was Muslim
http:// www.the guardia n.com/n ews/dat ablog/2 014/jan /10/ris e-briti sh-musl im-birt hrate-t he-time s-censu s
Yet 13.4% of the prison population was Muslim.
( That is from the census and the UK prison service.)
How do you explain that there are 2.8 times as many Muslims in prison than would be expected from the % in the general population?

Arnt the numbers being bandied around rather a red herring as far as this post goes?
1) The post is about fraud, not about murder, rape, burglary or anything else which a generalized prison population will hold.
2) There is no way you can extrapolate from the figures the number of a particular race/creed involved in a particular crime. The probably exist somewhere but I have never seen them to that level.
Fraud has always been a problem in the East. It's almost the culture in some parts of the world. After inviting so many in we are at fault for not putting things in place to contain it in our country. But then, that would be racist in some peoples eyes I guess.

// I know not all Asians are Muslim and not all Muslins are Asian but the real total will be higher. //
It is useful to recollect that when the glorious Raj ended in 1947, the Hindu and Muslim leaders couldnt agree and were therefore given their own countries to govern. So it came about that Pakistan ( Now P + Bangladesh ) was muslim and India Hindu....and on 16th Aug 1947 they fell on each others necks but THAT is a different story
