Well, despite howls from the left, the economy is picking up (bit to slowly for my liking but when you are carrying the lib dems I guess you are constrained).

So the next thing on many peoples mind is immigration, hence the popularity of Nigel.

Which means, I dont see any surprise at this news whatso ever.

I'm sure the UKIP bashers will be along shortly to call me a few names though.

It's picking up unbearably slowly because of Conservative preferred strategies. Should be sorted by now. But at least the government are doing their best there. But immigration is a disaster and needs attention. First act has to be to free the country from EU straitjacket rules.

Very bad News for the Conservatives. The Coalition's immigration Policy is in tatters. They said immigration would be down to tens of thousands by now, but it is higher now than it was before they were elected.

Cameron haas proved to be weak and spineless, and I suspect a closet Europhile despite his rhetoric.

It is unlikely the Tories will be in power next time although with labour failing to take advantage of the Tories disarray who knows. Probably a colition I guess.
