Can't have been much fun circling Gatwick in a 747 for three hours to burn off the fuel, knowing you were going to have to land on a partially stuck undercarriage.
It's raining diesel in short, for that is what they fly on, a kerosine without water in it - for obvious reasons.
Never had to do this, only turnbacks for medical reasons, back up into the air on landing a few times and three aborted take-offs, a few lighting strikes too - oh and the near misses, (in China).
