It seems the new Leader of Scottish Labour is intent on mugging the English. What is it about Socialists that hate the thought that anyone has done ok?

Yes, I said in September that I was sorely disappointed with the result and that further devolution (and the extra goodies promised by the party leaders in panic) would lead to division and rancour.

As a united kingdom I'm pleased that we have stayed together. But I have the feeling that we are being too generous with this new agenda and it won't be the first thing to happen. Alec Salmond seemed to be confident that Scotland could manage without us....now they want more!

It appears the SNP outwitted everyone especially Labour.

They gained a ton of concessions that vastly increase the amount of devolved power that Stcotland has.
And they discreditted Labour at the same time. The SNP will pick up dozens of Labour seats (and a few LibDems) and there is a good chance they will be Kingmakers after the General Election. That will come at a cost though, probably Independence, or something similar in all but name.

Miliband and Salmond in coalition is the nightmare scenario for many.
