They are not crazy and I understand why they don't want people to build snowmen.

I watched a film once where the snowman came to life, kidnapped a child and then stole a motorbike on which he deliberately set out to frighten all the farmyard animals. He whisked the young boy away to a forest in the arctic where fellow snowmen are drinking copious amounts of beer.

The boy is introduced to a fat man dressed in red who plies the boy with glasses of what appear to be neat vodka. The poor boy is then made to dance and join in the general debauchery.

It's an awul tale and a warning to snowmen builders everywhere!
