"New words" ...what like "the left" and "liberals", looks like you're the one who needs to ask for a dictionary (small d).
I actually agree with you in essence - particularly that UK is far too lenient on violent crime and IMO is far more interested in crime involving property or money.
I don't think this has much to do with your perception of "the left" or "liberals" though.
