He managed to fudge that on the grounds that as long as the Czech Republic refused to sign up it was not yet law. Once they had done so then it was a fait accompli. I don't think it will be so easy for him to wriggle out of this one; if he wins the election he will have no room for manoeuvre, except to say, "I lied, I didn't mean it".
We should have a referendum NOW, before the GE in May. Why the procrastination? Anyway, it'll never happen in 2017 as Mr Jelly Spine Cammy won't be PM after May. Who will though? Del boy Dave only makes a politicians chocolate-teapot type promise ,which means nowt. Lab will never have one, the LIMPs will never have one so who else is there? Oh yes, UKIP. Like them or dislike them, they will make that EU referendum a major priority. Rant over...
