I am by no means a pugilist but I have to admit that the thought of engaging the oaf in a riveting debate about the waste of good food wouldn't have been my first reaction. Prescott acted instinctively and most people I know had sympathy for him and none for the oaf.

The correct way to behave by a politician is with dignity and aplomb. For all the fault finding you direct at Farage he is not an oik who lashes out but keeps calm. As an ardent Labour supporter I suppose you advocate violence, as did the WWB who also had history of thumping people.
