Er, did UKIP hire these dancers to put on a show, outside UKIP's party conference in Margate?
The left are showing their true colours now, even down to wearing the correct uniform.

I understand the irony behind the plot of The Producers, and as a theatrical production, it is open to any member of the public who wishes to attend.
But to hijack a political party conference is inappropriate - not because it is UKIP, but because any party would not want to be associated with the visual imagery of the production, given that not everyone is aware of the show, or the fact that it is entirely against the Nazi regime and makes a mockery of it as a cornerstone of its plot.
So, misjudged in my view - but perhaps not for the reasons that AOG's OP headline may infer.

AOG, and more pointedly Buenchico....many, many thanks for giving me the opportunity to see "Springtime for Hitler" again.
Especially nice to see Zero Mostel, one of my favourite comedic actors !
I can see no reason to link this promo for a forthcoming tour of The Producers nearby in Bromley, and UKIP, other than UKIP's desperation to boost their failing appeal.
For those who live closer than I, here is a link to The Producers. I saw it in the West End a couple of years and it was funnier than the film version, if that could be possible !

You typed : So, misjudged in my view - but perhaps not for the reasons that AOG's OP headline may infer.
This is what my headline asked :
*** Why Was This Disgusting Nazi Dancing Troupe's Gate Crash, Allowed To Take Place? ***
From that, what can you possibly think my headline inferred?
I was not disgusted by the scantily clad dancing girls, if that is what you thought, but by the fact that they chose to put on their performance dressed as Nazis which could only have one particular political reason.

You must be very naive if you think that the street show happened to take place outside the venue of UKIP's party conference by sheer coincidence.
How could it possibly boost UKIP,'s failing appeal, as you put it?
On the contrary it was a left wing stunt that came back to shoot them in the foot, a practice that labour are continuously very good at.

AOG...you have completely misunderstood the reason that the "disgusting" nazi troupe appeared in Margate.
While the Nazis were pretty disgusting, these dancers are not. Neither is the stage show that they were promoting disgusting either. If you don't understand the plot of "The Producers" then do some research. Or better still, watch Buenchico's excellent link.
They didn't "gate crash" the UKIP conference. They were there at the same time. What would you expect everyone in Margate to do for the next day or so ? Keep off the streets in case they accidently offend the tender sensibilities of UKIP and the Daily Mail ?

///The cast were in Margate to promote the new touring production of the musical comedy about a failed producer who tried to put on the worst show ever///
/// Have you any 'evidence' to prove that this was not the case, AOG? ///
No it was obviously so, but the Nazi clad dance troupe outside the venue of UKIP's conference was for completely difference reasons.

///A Nazi-themed troupe of dancers and a Second World War tank GATE-CRASHED the start of Ukip’s spring conference in Margate today.
The scene overshadowed the opening session of the conference, ahead of Mr Farage's key-note speech this afternoon.///
Absolutly nothing to suggest it was anything to do with UKIP as Mikey is suggesting @ 1542, just a good promotional opportunity grabbed by the shows producer

No, I didn't think your disgust was the costumes, I assumed it was the use of Nazi insignia that gave cause to your OP - unless I have misunderstood, in which case of course I am open to correction of my point.
What I don't grasp is your subsequent assertion that the incident was a 'left wing stunt' when the coverage gives no indication that any political party was involved in its staging.
The vast majority of the coverage is given over to Mr Farage, and does not really connect with the outside incident, except to point out that Mrs Farage is German, although there is no record of her reaction.

AOG - I thought we had moved forwards from 'obviously' to needing 'evidence' to back up any News articles on AB?
If the 'Paris Tube Incident' videos weren't sufficient evidence for you, (and given your requests that other contributors ought to provide evidence/proof that their inferences were correct), I think it's only fair that you provide more details that this was a 'disgusting gate crash' designed for one purpose only.
