Thanks Zacs - I must learn how to do links.
How awful.
It was on the news earlier that her step brother and his girlfriend were be questioned. God knows what has happened but I suppose it will all come out in court.
I was terribly sorry to read this

mind you Andy H earns a gold star for his fridge
for pointing out that the father insisted on television that none of his step relations were being questioned.... and andy commented Odd -very odd

did it mean that other step relations WERE ? ( existential hypothesis we could say )
you just hovver over the address bar and right click. A list will drop down and you choose 'copy'.
Then you paste it into the question title.

(assuming you're on a PC / Laptop)
You click the address bar. it turns blue, you right click and 'copy' come back to AB and right click again and 'paste'

Zacs - I use an I pad, but thanks. It is strange how often these cases involve family members. Poor young girl, so sad.
I think it was more of a case that he said none of his blood relatives were involved, suggesting that step relatives might be.
On an iPad, click next to the www thing, pick 'select all' and then 'copy'. To paste, click where you want to put your link and pick 'paste'.

Oh has been involved in Child Protection for many years, I've forgotten the figure she mentioned, and she's not here to ask atm, but it's a very high %
of Abusers / Killers that turn out to be Family members!

Thank you Sherradk I will try that.
I picked up when he said about none of the Watts family which, to me, suggested someone else connected though I was thinking more maybe the mother's side, not thinking about any step relations on that side.

Just so so sad.
So sad stories like these, when the story first broke although several years older hope she'd be found like 'Shannon Matthews' in a 'safe/alive' manner.
I'll try that as well sherrardk. I'd got the right-click bit but wasn't sure what you then did. So you go onto the site, r-click on the heading and copy then go back to Google and type in answerbank and then get to whatever section and type copy and paste. I'll try it, but so far I lose everything.

Five methods, to suit various devices, listed here.

Hypnognesis I am very grateful for any help, I've looked at the site, but what does 'navigate to another page'mean, please? I can go into a site, I can answer questions on here and post questions - but then there gets to be this bit about linking somewhere else. I've tried pressing the 'make teeny tiny' icon at the top r-hand side and everything disappears, is that what I'm supposed to do? If I do that, how do I get the r-click link thingy to go onto the page I had opened? Sorry, but I am completely self-taught with no back-up and I am a creative rather than logical thinker. I'll try anything, but am really looking forward to asking 9-yr-old granddaughter!
@jourdain2

A page glitch meant that I just lost ten minutes of typing.

I've forgotten just how painful it is to describe computer operations which take me a couple of seconds, in words, without confusing or misdirecting the other person. Your granddaughter could show you how far faster.

The first wikihow said "navigate to another "browser tab". I am surprised you've not encountered this feature before, which is a godsend for rapidly switching between multiple webpages.
