High Turn-Out Today?
I've just been to vote and the lady at the polling station tells me there's been an extraordinarily large turn-out today. Does anyone know if the rest of the country is following suit?

Our local community centre has two polling stations in it (one for the north side and town and the other for the south). They've had to open their overflow car park to cope with the volume of cars and the queues outside both doors are quite long, taking around 10 minutes to get inside.
Turnout in 2010 was 65% and there had just been worldwide turmoil due to the financial crash. As nothing quite so calamitous has occurred recently then I doubt there is anything to drive a great deal more voters out. But the weather was fine today so that tends to increase turnout. I don't think turnout will be sufficiently greater than 64% 5 years ago.
