Nicola Sturgeon Gets A Hard Time On The Daily Show
28 Answers
I was pleased Nicola Sturgeon got a hard time on the Daily Show by John Stewart, she quickly evaded the question of oil and has been on a 4 day tax jolly at taxpayers expense. What do abs think of this farce?

(That's what happened in the recent general election!)
It seems that, as far as the lady is concerned, the answer to your question is 'Yes!' MY voting intentions are for me to know and you merely to conjecture!

In my view, TTT, the best 'deal' Cameron can hope to get will be some pathetic tinkering aound the edges that he will somehow try to present as a major improvement in our relationship with the EU. I'd be utterly astonished if he succeeds in persuading them to alter the free movement of people or their entitlement to benefits once they've moved. So the "tens of thousands rather that hundreds of thousands" promise and the "no benefits for four years" promise are almost guaranteed no-hopers. But we'll see.
some on here really just dont get it at all
its irelevant what DC gets now, its just short term compromises and sweeteners from our overlords at the eussr to try and make sure they get us to stay in ...they like all other empire builders before have but one aim , TOTAL CONTOL of all and any country they can get and that includes our country, do you not understand that, what do you think the end game is here for the eussr ? bits and bobs.
We are as we have always been, the top target, we would be the jewlel in the crown for them....
We will be nothing but a province in there dictatorial empire, because as time goes on thats the way things tend to go in empires, they tend to get more and more dictatorial, because thats the only way they can excercise total control as they expand their ambitions in line with their dreams of megalamaniacal power, rule and control...
they need us...desperately...we dont need them one iota

"More than 200 jobs are being created at a West Lothian technology plant owned by US-based Jabil."
"The £12.5m expansion, with extra 212 jobs, was announced following a visit by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to the company's headquarters in New York."

"Hard time" ?, "tax jolly" ?, "farce" ?
Gordie, that is utter rot.
Everywhere I have looked, states the Scottish First Minister came over very well on the TV show you mention. No "hard time" whatsoever.
What is a "tax jolly". She is on an Official visit.
" Farce"? Wishful thinking by you.
She is promoting Scotland during her visit and trying to bring jobs and investment to Scotland.
Do you disapprove of that, too?
