Blatter's Replacement By December 16Th !
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ sport/0 /footba ll/3307 3906
Apparently FIFA won't be able to elect another President until December !
As he has resigned ( at last ) I can't understand why FIFA are taking this long to have another election. Why can't they meet next week, or perhaps the week after ? Its not as if FIFA can't afford the airfares for everybody to meet up is it ?
Surely FIFA needs to act quickly and decisively ?

In reality I would be surprised if he stays that long. If it was up to FIFA he'd be allowed to carry on until then, but I am hoping outside forces will intervene long before then. It is, of course, disgraceful that "resignation" did not mean "I'm going now", but then I think we are looking at institutionalised criminality and not just one person. Blatter may not even be the worst of the bunch, in fact he probably isn't.

When they had the last election for Blatter a week or so ago I felt it was a lot like asking the members of the mafia to vote on who they wanted to be their boss.
The choice was The Godfather or the local police chief.
Of course who in the mafia would vote for the local police chief.
As a football fan of long standing I am disgusted the way Blatter and his crooked cronies have taken over the game for their own profit.
And I am amazed Blatter is till there, though I suppose there is a lot of dodgy paperwork to shred.

In case anymore stuff like this surfaces I should imagine, mikey.
