It's not like Cameron. He's always been in the 'nothing to do with Islam' camp. Is he getting a backbone, I wonder?

Perhaps the penny has finely dropped?
'I don't hear WHITE people apologising for the South Carolina killings'

I don't feel I should have to apologise, I don't think Muslims should have to apologise ... but it would be nice to hear some condemnation of the radicals.

Saying that there wasn't much condemnation of the white supremacists on here. Maybe some still don't believe the reasons given for the atrocity?
lol...not the white supremacists on AB

I obviously meant the one in South Carolina
Looks a bit like party politics and a touch of rabble rousing by Yasmin Qureshi.
I would imagine in South Carolina those black skinned folk affected by this crime will probably be hearing many apologies from white skinned folk who were not involved but sorrowful for what occurred.

I'm unsure it can be equated with a situation in the UK where it is suggested a community is not doing sufficient to prevent the spread of hatred of the West within their community to their young folk. Is the suggestion that we allow this to teaching of hatred and violence to continue unabated because some psychopath in the US did such an awful act ? I do hope not.
America seems hell bent on dressing the killings up as terrorism. It isn't. It's just a very unhinged young man with severe mental health issues.
His (black) friend, who he'd been staying with, said he'd never heard him say anything racist(perhaps not surprising when talking to a black man) But he did say something about 'shooting up' the local college. One man's statement but food for thought.
